User Interface with Mobile Device and Camera
Jelínek, Dalibor ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Najman, Pavel (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with development of user interface which will allow to control mobile device using camera and without use of hands. Thesis includes research on existing non-contact user interface sollutions and relevat computer vision techlologies. The output of the practical part is Android application which serves as a web browser that can be controlled exclusively by facial movements and voice.
Deep learning based face recognition in real conditions
Horňáková, Veronika ; Kříž, Petr (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis explores the area of face recognition using deep learning technique. Face recognition is used for two main reasons: verification and identification. In this thesis we describe the techniques of deep learning, mostly the convolutional neural networks, which are the most significant method for processing images - detection, classification and segmentation of the image. The process of face recognition is divided into four main steps: face detection, face selection, face extraction and face classification. We chosen three of the existing programs for face recognition (OpenFace, FaceNet and Face_Recognition), which are described in this thesis, in particular the principle of the human face recognition. Thanks to the tests with the data set of Labeled Faces in the Wild (LFW) we could specify the accuracy and the time requirement of each application. Testing of FaceNet and Face_Recognition ran on real data with face detection in video with complicated conditions. The test compares two images and tries to determine if is the same person. The test results are show in graph and table.
Web Gallery with Person Identification
Hubl, Lukáš ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the creation of an application which serves as a web gallery for saving and viewing photographs with the possibility of automatic filtration of faces. The application chooses its instruments for creating particular parts as well as including the instruments for the automatic identity recognition, and its implementation into the created web application. The test results of the face's detection and the recognition of particular persons are shown on dataset, which was created intentionally for this work. Last chapter describes further possibilities for improving particular elements the resulting application.
Evaluation of blinking and the observed place on the monitor
Klimeš, Petr ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to create a system for user’s gaze and eye analysis in a driving simulator. There is a research of existing methods for facial landmark detection, head pose and gaze estimation and eye blink detection. Software and hardware of the simulator is described and a camera is added for user recording. In the main part, the Eye Aspect Ratio method is tested for blink detection. Next, head pose detection from facial landmarks is tested. Furthermore, Convolutional Neural Networks are created and trained for gaze estimation. From existing algorithms, OpenFace library is tested. OpenFace library is added to existing software in Unreal Engine and used for gaze and blink detection. A gaze calibration procedure is created and tested for better accuracy.
